Stumbled across this while looking up some info on extension tubes.
I think it will be helpful for many budding photographers in answering those nagging need to know questions.
Your welcome. I actually got to browse the site to see just what info was in there tonight and found lots to help ad read up on. I purchased as set of kenko extension tubes. They are designed for AF DSLR cameras. They had one for the Sony alpha AF series and is designed to be used with TTL metering without the need for exposure compensation. It was $289.00 for a set of 3 rings- 12mm, 20mm and a 36mm tubes allowing use of any combination. Hopefully I will get a chance to try them out this weekend.
Thanks Patrick,
I hope it answers a lot of questions for people. I know I've been reading and learing like crazy. I've been getting a lot of insight from it.
