Lightroom Assistance

I;ve just come back from protugal and have many amazing scenery pictures. They need a few touch ups that i am still working on. My big question is- i just downloaded Lightroom-- how do I put an identity plate on it and save pictures so that they have any changes i made to them plus my watermark trait on the photos?

I just bought Lightroom 2 so i can only help will a little. I do know that with Lightroom that it will help you from copying over you origianl photo. Here's what i do: First I improt the photo. Then make a virtual copy and make all adjustments to the copy. When I go to save it I export it to the approeriate folder.

I will look throught my Lightroom book and see if i can find out anything for you tomorrow.

I have looked in my books and any reply would take me a really long time to type because of the length in steps. But I would recomend to get the book "The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom" for digital photographers by Scott Kelby.

To do the identity plate, just simply go to Edit>Identity Plate Setup. Enter what you want. Play with the fonts, colors, etc. Watch the size though.

To watermark, export the photo. The list of options appears, and you can check the box.
