If I had to have 3 different types of lenses, what should they be? I've heard this:

1. Telephoto Zoom Lens (at least 75-300mm strength)
2. Wide Angle Lens
3. 18-55mm

I'm open to suggestions. My photography preference is "Nature/wildlife"

I agree with your selection. I usually carry a 20-200 mm zoom lens, and a fixed wide-angle lens. I would like to get a fixed macro lens soon. I have gotten the impression that fixed lenses create better images then zoom lenses.
Thanks Richard...I appreciate the input. I'm pretty ignorant to most of photography and have so much to learn. Every tidbit of information I can get helps alot.
I've got:
17-55 Nikkor for street-life, landscape, portret.
11-17 Tamron for street-life, landscape, some art-affects
70-300 VR for landscape, street life,
That's enough for all scenes I like.
But I want to buy a fishae, as 4-4/5nikkor (if I'm right).
I think it depends on what kind of photos you like. and your budget of course:-)
Thanks for your input Mike.
