Yes I took it and my brother took it. It's TOTALLY worth it. (It was $800 when I took it.) It teaches you everything you need to know to take excellent pictures. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wanted to seriously develop their camera skills for either personal enjoyment or those wanting to start a business.
Christine:
NYIP propaganda by mail say that they send you lessons in audio CD's.
How can someone learn all about photography ,camera settings, composition, etc only by listening?
Do they have any material other than audio CD's?
Thanks.
Oh ya, I forgot about that. Trish is right. They need to redo the books with pictures that don't look so dated. But the material itself is good. Things like exposure and composition don't change with time. Ha ha, I had forgotten about the pictures.
They send you written, audio and visual lessons. Also you have projects you send in and critiques plus your instructers and help are only one call or email away! I love the classes bc I can study and learn on my own time. Awesome program and I would recomened to anyone interested in Photography either as a hobby or as a beginning to a career.
I took this course 20 odd years ago and it set me up on the road as a Pro.
No doubt it has changed drastically since then but I still hear good things about it even today.
Do they still offer their money back if you don't earn the cost of the course back guarantee?
Anyway it served me well.
Cheers
Simon
