Any info on the New York Institute of Photography??

Yes I took it and my brother took it. It's TOTALLY worth it. (It was $800 when I took it.) It teaches you everything you need to know to take excellent pictures. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wanted to seriously develop their camera skills for either personal enjoyment or those wanting to start a business.

NYIP propaganda by mail say that they send you lessons in audio CD's.
How can someone learn all about photography ,camera settings, composition, etc only by listening?
Do they have any material other than audio CD's?

Hi Donna I am finishing off Unit 3 at moment, and although i think the course can be updated a little more i think it is definately well worth it especially if this is all new to you...I enjoy it ..feel free to ask me anything anytime and if you do go for it..ENJOY!!

Oh ya, I forgot about that. Trish is right. They need to redo the books with pictures that don't look so dated. But the material itself is good. Things like exposure and composition don't change with time. Ha ha, I had forgotten about the pictures.
