This is a nice try. However, I am not really a fan of high key work so my observation would likely be biased. Notwithstanding what I just wrote, I can see beginnings of a project which could lead to some really exciting pix. Good Lick

i would've taken out background and just worked with the face. I dont know how good your pen tools are but this is a good way to improve those pen tool skills. The thing about this project is in photoshop there are quite a few ways different ppl achieve this technique so keep on trying different things. good job!!!

I agree with COrRY response that removal of the background would concentrate attention more on the eyes. The use of PS pen tool, this makes your pic an immediate vector image (check Help for details). Keep up the good work BTW Have you considered recolouring the eyes only?

Good Job Done. I agree though with the comment that background should have been removed. i am sure you can still do this. I also feel that the whites in the face are on a bit higher side which has killed some details on the face especially around the mouth. However, the effect that you have produced with hair is truely amazing. keep up good work. I am attaching a PDF document which teaches some tricks with digital images in Photoshop CS4. Hope you will find it useful.
