whats your take on Gimp? i have been using it for about a year and i can do just about anything that you can do with photoshop! just want some feedback on it

For the price (FREE!) it's an excellent editor! In the past I've moved layered Photoshop files in and out of GIMP, which I think is cool. I understand users of the also free (open source) Blender 3D app use GIMP for their photo editing needs.

For Windows users there's also the free Paint.net which is worth checking out.

I use Gimp almost everyday for photo editing, creating banners, and making buttons/logos for websites. I love the program and you cant beat the price!
