Hey Everyone.
My name is Laurie and I am very new to taking photos that I want rather than the hey look here.....smile for the camera or just the everyday family stuff. I got this camera because I am such a preschooler and have very little knowledge. So it is a step above my Sony sure shot but by far the bottom of the rung from most of you. However there are so many buttons and things the manual says it does I am overwhelmed. I was wondering if anyone else is using this particular camera and could tell me what they think of it. Or any tips... Thanks Laurie

Hi Yuri
I was surprised also that I hadn't heard from anyone. Maybe I am a real beginner in comparison. I do try and I totally understand about the closing the shutter. That was a help and the link as well. I really appreciate the time you took to help me.

Thanks you
Laurie

Uneeb Ullah Malik replied to Janna Slaback's discussion 'CANON 24-70mm f/2.8 vs TAMRON SP AF 17-50mm' in the group Canon User Group
Janna, For the wedding photography in particular, I am comfortable with 10mm-22mm lens because of groups and confined spaces and it also costs around $800.  For your question in particular, I used TAMRON and SIGMA, found SIGMA slightly better.…
