Hey Everyone.
My name is Laurie and I am very new to taking photos that I want rather than the hey look here.....smile for the camera or just the everyday family stuff. I got this camera because I am such a preschooler and have very little knowledge. So it is a step above my Sony sure shot but by far the bottom of the rung from most of you. However there are so many buttons and things the manual says it does I am overwhelmed. I was wondering if anyone else is using this particular camera and could tell me what they think of it. Or any tips... Thanks Laurie
Hi Yuri
I was surprised also that I hadn't heard from anyone. Maybe I am a real beginner in comparison. I do try and I totally understand about the closing the shutter. That was a help and the link as well. I really appreciate the time you took to help me.
Hi there Laurie ...your friend Roger here...my wife has used the s3is for some time and really got great photos and really enjoyed ...it is a step down from yours ...my friend Yurick passed on some great tips ...enjoy your camera and most of all "HAVE FUN"....and "DONT SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF"
Roger
Thanks Roger
Learning different things that won't overwhelm me. I am having a blast and I can't wait for spring to do some more Macro stuff. Kinda excited!
