Hello from Redmond, WA

I am relatively new to photography, I've only been shooting since mid summer. I live in Redmond, WA with my wife (Robin), two kids and our dog.

I've always know the "science" of photography, but never thought I had the creativity to do it myself. Once I started shooting I found it was easier then I had imagined, but I still often struggle with intense self criticism.

I really wanted a nice SLR in order to take better pictures of my children, and from there it grew more into a hobby. I am always looking for opportunities to take pictures and having a husband who is also interested in it is great.; ▶ Reply to This

I love the ability to be creative - I can't sing and have no artistic ability so photography has given me a chance to create - I love it!
I live in Tampa, Florida with my lovely bride of 33 years, Linda. We have 2 incredible children - Capt Charles Moores, 28, US Army Special Forces and our daughter Courtney, 25 works at a local law firm for last 5 years. We also have 3 Labradors, 2 schnauzers, 1 parrot and 2 cats. We love to ride our Harley in the mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina - lots of great photo ops there too!

Such as landscape photography or macro photography. Because it always seems like other photographers are better in certain areas.; ▶ Reply to This
