Just want to get opinions........I think it would be convenient if there was a window on the main page where it showed what members are online. Whats everyone think about this?

that would be convenient. but one day its going to get so huge how can you fit everyone on there? but that would be nice if you could do that somehow...
From my short stay here, it appears that there is only going to be a relatively small core of people who stay active and a lot who come, stay a short while and drift away. Having a window might retain more who are interested in socializing, but the hard core are going to remain. I like the personal aspects of this site and I feel and hope that whatever happens that will remain.
I like the idea. Of course I'm quite bashful so I probably wouldn't be shown often.
I like knowing who's online, makes it a more interesting time spent here when you can comment back and forth with someone almost in real time. Did I tell you I met my soulmate on a stock photography website? On there you can see who's online, and you can even have private chats right on the site. You know you have a lot in common with someone who hangs on the same sites you do... match made in heaven, LOL

This is a SOCIAL website, we should do everything we can to facilitate us being sociable!

Just my 2 cents...

I couldn't agree more Stacey. I posted a topic a while back to see if any one used a chat engine such as Yahoo or MSN. Really didn't get many responses so I'm not sure if anyone was interested. I use both MSN and Yahoo (Yahoo more under the profile "xterrus")
I agree -- knowing who is online would be nice!

Uneeb Ullah Malik replied to Janna Slaback's discussion 'CANON 24-70mm f/2.8 vs TAMRON SP AF 17-50mm' in the group Canon User Group
Janna, For the wedding photography in particular, I am comfortable with 10mm-22mm lens because of groups and confined spaces and it also costs around $800.  For your question in particular, I used TAMRON and SIGMA, found SIGMA slightly better.…
