Sigma AF 18-50mm f/2.8 DC EX HSM
I'm expecting this lens tomorrow morning and I found myself unable to sleep. It's really dangerous when I get excited! I bought this as a gift to myself for... no reason at all. Ha ha.
Although I need your inputs regarding this lens. I am upgrading from Nikon D40's kit lens that is an AF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6. I haven't found a decent review especially for the HSM version so I'm wondering if anyone here owns this particular glass.
I am very surprised at the price (EUR 390.00) because the closest Nikkor equivalent I saw was the 17-55mm f/2.8 and more than a thousand. Before disappointment catches me guards down, any notes I will have to expect?

I have been wanting to get a lens like that, I have a fixed wide-angle lens which works pretty well. But a little zoom would be nice.
