Alternate lighting instead of a dedicated flash

During the day when it's sunny, I usually use a reflector instead of a dedicated flash. What do you think of this idea???

It works great. I usually prefer using a reflector for fill. The only problem is that a reflector often requires an assistant, and sometime I don't have one.

Yes it does need an assistant. I have no problem with that. =] Besides that, I like it!

Like anything else its a technique to be employed. Its not a matter of flash or reflectors being better than each other, its a case of using the right one in the right situation.
