The Photography Network - PictureSocial

I just signed up with Fine Art America and was wondering if anyone here is a member or has any experience with the site they would like to share.

Here's a link to my Shop page :) You can create a Shop tab on your Facebook page that displays your work, prices, etc. Pretty neat.

Yes I have an account there as well.  I would say there are no sales generated by the site.  It is all up to you.  Business cards, posting with your website, having shows and referring the lookers they can get the product later there may be of help. There are other ways in photography to make $ but just posting your work there will not get you any sales.  My advice would be to find a niche you like and then promote it wildly.  You can join a local artists council as well and do the occasional show.  You'll probably get better results.  Many of the sales that FAA display are from the artist getting their own work framed.  Check locally and you'll find that the cost of framing is through the roof,  FAA may be able to save you money based on the volume of work they do.
