Anyone using a Wacom tablet?

Hi,
I am thinking of purchasing a Wacom Intuos III size 6x8 any of you that have experience using this tablet that has any thoughts on good and bad about it? I want it to edit pictures with rather than using my mouse I am hoping it will be easier to make small and more accurate adjustments with a pen than it is with a mouse.

I have had my wacom Intuos 4 for almost a year now and i can not live without it! My best investment till now!

I still don't use mine much. I have two tablets, the Intuos and a second one for writing Chinese characters, which gets a little more use. A few months ago I upgraded to a new computer and Vista. It has the horsepower to make the tablets nice to work with but I still find it more convenient to use a trackball for most work. I just use the tablet when I want drawing strokes.
