I was asked by my guidance councilor on what career am I going to choose for college. My third career choice was photography and he gave me a form and it was asked there to right the required skills and aptitudes. Does anyone know how to answer this? As for me, there's always knowledge and creativity in here...

Vision...and not with the eyes but the mind. Understanding of how light works. If you are photographing people...people skills. Organization...if you shoot a lot your favorite images may get lost. If you are shooting fast moving things like in sports...anticipation. Adventurous spirit. A willingness to try new things even if it means you may fail. Plan your shoot whenever possible...those who fail to plan, plan to fail. Knowing that you do not have to accept what nature gives you (regarding light)...Those are a few off my list.
Dear Maeda.....skill means handling the equipments.....camera, flash etc. in sunlight/shadow, in other words, how to take good pictures.
Aptitude...means how much interest u have in that, whether u will take as hobby, or profession or freelancing..
