The Photography Network - PictureSocial

I am new to this and I really need an idiots version of the basics. If anyone would like to enlighten me on various topics such as metering, different flash settings, DOF, etc.... I would greatly appreciate it!

Your photos are really good. Looks like you have a good concept of composition...you can learn a lot from you camera...your automatic settings will teach you what settings it is looking for. slowly move into the manual modes and experiment with your settings...shoot shoot shoot...why not, it is digital you can always delete and try again. Read some of the other forums...a lot of your answers are there.
Thank you so much for your reply. I appreciate your insight!

This maybe a 1940's ford.  Of course I'm not sure.
