Can anyone share some few photography techniques that begginers could actually do?

Try looking through the collection of videos on this site. There are quite a few which give the veiwer a good overview of photographic subjects and some that go much deeper into specific subjects.

P.S.: Googling a particular photography subject can also provide you with a wealth of information from a variety of sources.

why dont you go to some local shows around your area and experiment with that??

haha! thanks for your help, Nikki! :) There are lots of people here who carry DSLRs. It's just that I don't see them take pictures. They just carry with it. =/ haha!
