Hi

I would like to capture motion in day light. Now, i know if i leave the shutter open to long the image will be to bright but is there a way to get around it.?

So, Is there a way to keep the shutter open for a long time in daylight without it to cause the image to be very very bright?

Cheers

If you shoot 100 ISO and use direct sunlight the best you can hope for without any filtration is 1/30 sec at f/22. If you add a polarizer this will knock it down by 2 stops for 1/8 @ f/22. This is plenty slow to pan with passing by objects while streaking the background, or creating silky smooth waterfalls. Of course the ideal is shooting in overcast lighting. This will bump the shutter speed down even more.
ND Filter you will have to figure out how much blur you want by how many stops you need and that will let you know which filter to get.
Here is the results: PLEASE MIND THE DUST ON THE PHOTO ....... :)))))

beautiful photo! buttt, what happened there? why the dust? is your sensor dirty?
Thanks

Yes, the sensor is very dirty. I think it may be caused by me acidentally pressing the mirroe lock-up button ... oops!
