Hello chatters I will start off the thread today as it looks like Geri is still not well.

Here's a challenge for all the chatters, I just read that picturecorrect article on Rembrandt lighting, you all have till Sunday to try this technique and post your results, all entries can be posted on Sunday, that gives you three days from now to post your results, I will appoint someone to judge the best comp, focus, lighting, etc. ! Anyone who wants to participate please do so, it is all in fun !

It is now Sunday and Geri is still not well so I think we should wait until she comes back as it was Geri`s idea and extend it a few more days or sooner when she is better.

Spent the whole weekend in the apartment :-( DH was quite ill on Friday afternoon, took him to a hospital for blood tests etc (always concerned with malaria and Dengue fever). He has a bacterial infection and the antibiotics seems to be doing what it is supposed to do as he is much better this morning.

Hello every one. i think i am late for today's chatter. anyhow good morning (from where i am, sun is yet to rise on 27th Feb). just thought , i must share a new picture which i uploaded for 72 hours ribbon contest. it is a picture of rose from a different angle. showing it underside, which we normally don't capture

Morning Aamir, I am a couple hours ahead of you .... problem with the different time zones. Nice colours set against the black backdrop, your rose seems like it has known better days :-)

wonderful shot, one which is unusual. we seek beauty in glory. whereas sometimes it is found in ruins. very emotional and thematic image, one which conveys the fickleness of life
