It seems that there are three individual items in this picture. The bird, the sun and the trees. But they appear disconnected. Next time, try to get more of the trees in the foreground. Here, with just the tops of the trees, it looks like an animal's head or something in the way. It's slightly distracting. And don't center the sun. Just my opinion.
Thanks for the response. Sorry i didnt add many inforamation. This was very much an unexpected shot. I was on the terrace at around 6pm. suddenly i thought of taking a sunset shot. I tried to include a bird in the frame, so it will make an impression of birds returning to their home.

Now i think it was better to include some more objects into this shot. Thanks kelly and jim.
Though one might want to think that the bird is the focal point, that becomes confused with the sun, since the sun is bright and in the center of the image. I would go for a more off-centered composition. Overall the image appears too soft and not sharply focused. The tree is distracting; either include more of it in another area of the frame or eliminate it.
