Hi there,
I have a question on how to make background into white.
When I shot portrait with white backdrop, as you know, the background got darker.
I want to make it brither in photoshop. Doesanyone know how to do this?
Please give me advice on that.

Thank you in advance.

Jim,
Easiest thing I can think of is to use 'Select,' 'Color Range' and select as much of the white background as you can with the 'Add to Sample' eyedropper. Keep close look at your subject though, so you don't select too much of the white on them that you can't live with.
After selecting the color range, open a 'New Adjustment Layer' for 'Brightness/Contrast.' Make sure the checkbox for 'Use Previous Layer to Create Clipping Mask' is checked. Then make your adjustments.
This should allow you to brighten the backgroud without affecting most other portions of the photo.

Mike :)

P.S.: I like your shots.
Thank you, Mike.
It might work. I'll try that way.

Thanks again.
Here's one I worked on.

Mike :)
