Hello from the Sierra Nevadas of Northern California

My name is Karen Schmautz and I live in the beautiful Sierra Nevadas. I'm a mother of three almost grown children and the wife of an aspiring chef cleverly disguised as an insurance adjuster. We live in an area rich with photographic opportunities of mountains, lakes, rivers, streams, vineyards, orchards, wineries, wildlife and old gold towns. However, as much as I appreciate God's beautiful creation, my true love is photographing people.
