I fell in love with taking pictures the day my first daughter was born. I wanted to capture as much as I could so I didn’t miss a thing. Seeing her in print captured with a tear, a frown, a smile, it wasn’t long before I was hooked and wanted more.
Over the years, in between bringing up the kids and work Photography has been something that I have tried to pick up but never found the time to do properly and despite trying my hand at other hobbies I have found it is what I always come back to.
Nowadays life is a little less demanding now the kids have grown some and I have more time to dedicate to something for me… so here I am, Camera loaded and ready to go.. thing is… I’m not sure where I start :o/
I’ve covered quite a lot of text over the years and armed with the basics in my head, off I went to purchase my first DSLR. I have been given a few tips from a Professional Photographer to get me started but find the prospect of trying to put it all to use a little daunting…..
Why am I here?
I’m looking for inspiration, knowledge, tips, acquaintances and any other help Picturesocial has to offer, including positive criticism when I’m brave enough to post what I have taken :o)
I’m looking forward to being able to have an ear when I need to ask something, listen to people with similar problems and share in the visions of others accomplishments; and one day I hope I will have learned enough to be able to give something back to the forum.
Many thanks to all of you who have already given a warm welcome :o)
