This place is becoming a cloud. A place to dump your backups. The rules need to be changed so everybody gets to see only your best  Pictures.

The learning experence here is really good from the few who teach us. I dont want this to end because a few who abuse this board. A couple a day is plenty and the ability to ask for help on them. This would work for me.

Deep in my mind I belive someone is making money on all these pictures. This is only my opinion.

Good suggestion.

Can you add the number of "likes" a person has made to their page? For example, my page shows how many photos I have posted, how many groups and discussions I am in. I would like people to know how many times I liked other people's work and I would like to know how much a person participates when I view their page.

I'm sure many would dis-agree but I'd like to see an upload limit of 3~5 photos a day.

Could you add a new forum category "How To Use PictureSocial"? Add it to the top of the list and link it to the Main Page so that new folks can find it easy. I think if people new all of the little tricks this site has that you would have far less calls to restrict other people's use of the site.

The current forum set-up does not even have the site rules or site news until you dig to the bottom. Post it at the top!

Ryan, I wanted to thank you for creating a fantastic site for photographers of all levels.  Over the past few weeks there has been a somewhat heated discussion regarding the allowable number of downloads people are allowed on this site.  I for one find it a struggle to view the new downloads so I no longer do so, thus hurting me by not seeing good work and hurting others by me not recognizing their good work.

A recent addition to the duscussion identified you as the one who has developed and administers this site, thus you have receive a number of requests in the past few hours.  There are also a number of additional suggestions here that have pushed the suggestion for helping with these photo dumps back a page.  I am just bringing the topic forward again so you will consider alternatives to the only frustrating thing for me about this site.

Should you decide to continue to allow so many photos dumped on this site, I would appreciate an explanation as to why you feel 200 photos a day is a reasonable number.  I would appreciate understanding the reason why anyone would get benefit out of someone downloading 35 images of a bug.  This to me is not showing your best work, this is just using this site as a storage facility and taking away from some of the incredible photographers who are members.

Any assistance you can give to help us understand your reasons for allowing these photo dumps would be greatly appreciated.

"Thanks John !..the crispness surprised me somewhat as i had used a 13mm close-up/macro extension tube attached to a 50mm Prime, the shot didn't need any sharpening in PS either. Oh, and no not yet, though i keep trying.. lol !!.."
