How do I rotate pictures?

Like I said in my profile, I take pictures so maybe I'm NOT a photographer...? I enjoy using my 2 year old 8MP Sony WSC100. I'm not aiming at becoming a professional, winning awards or even getting work out of my hobby. I observe my environment a lot, and carry my camera around most of the time. This helps me to quickly take pictures of moments and sights I have just observed, which have grabbed my attention or fascinated me for whatever reason. The results are impromptu, mostly uncomposed shots, random in their taking, and of course not always of very good quality. Nevertheless, I plod on...
My question: How do I rotate pictures I have already uploaded here to their correct view?

Though wish there were two buttons for clockwise and anticlockwise rotations...

There is an excellent graphics viewer, editor and conversion program available to all. It is a free program. When you rotate you can turn on a grid for alignment. Enlarge, adjust contrast, brightness and many other factors in a photo. I have been using the program for many years. Photoshop is great, but this is one of the easiest, but powerfull program. You can view most graphic format.
Go to www.xnview.com and download the free program. They have Mac versions as well.

Thanks for the tip. I checked it out though haven't downloaded it but their features outwardly, seem good. I use Picasa 3 and sometimes Fast Stone, both of which work as well. Photoshop is for far more serious and dedicated photographers than me! I hear good things about GIMP. Any one tried that?

"Thanks John !..the crispness surprised me somewhat as i had used a 13mm close-up/macro extension tube attached to a 50mm Prime, the shot didn't need any sharpening in PS either. Oh, and no not yet, though i keep trying.. lol !!.."
