I have a SUNPAK BZ 260 and it's extremely hard to find it on the internet. Somehow this flash gun was released on the 80's I think. Anyone know? Well, when this was given to me, it had no manual. So now I'm still struggling how to use this old fella'

Below, there are photos attached at the bottom showing 3 different AUTO modes and Manual mode as well. The AUTO are those are red, yellow, and green showing different distances. And while moving the switch, the F/stop also moves. Does anyone know how to use this? I'd be glad... :) There's also an ISO/ASA on the top that can also be adjusted. When do I adjust it?

Make a hole, insert a small super-bright flashlight into the flashgun, and voila lol sorry nooo idea :-P
Hahaha! and that makes the flashgun pointless :))

If you have a camera from the '80s to go with the flash, you use the calculator on the back of the flash to set the aperture on your lens.

If you have a camera from this century, you get a little adapter to fit the hot shoe that fires the flash when it sees light from another strobe and you use the Sunpak as a slave.  My current cameras will not fire a flash with a single contact on the bottom of the hot shoe.  My Canon FTb will.

Ohh, so that on the back is a "calculator"? How do i set it to low or full power?

You can pull the hood out a bit to focus the flash, it zooms from 35 mm to 135 mm focal length.

Set the switch on the left above the power switch to M, I imagine that is what will be indicated if you move it up.  In A mode, it uses the sensor on the front to determine how much light is reflected and reduces power if it gets a lot of reflection.   In manual mode, it delivers full power.   By the standards of a Canon 430 EX II, it has no features and is not very smart.

Wow, thanks! this helped me a lot! But i have a question... what is the "sensor on the front" ?

The sensor is here, I think.  I have a different brand, but similar old flash.

wow, that's the sensor? Haha! I doesn't even look like one. Thanks anyways! :D i'll keep what you said in mind :)

"Thanks John !..the crispness surprised me somewhat as i had used a 13mm close-up/macro extension tube attached to a 50mm Prime, the shot didn't need any sharpening in PS either. Oh, and no not yet, though i keep trying.. lol !!.."
