Actually, I got my photography degree in 1979 and started my brilliantly unremarkable career in commercial studio and wedding photography. Studio because that was what I loved and weddings because that's what paid the bills.
As it turned out I ended up having a career entirely outside of photography.
Now retired, I have dreams of re-entering the photography arena with a strong interest in architecture. I look forward to getting to know the people here.
I am finding your predictions true, especially in PP, it's so mind boggling easy compared to film. I am also seeing some negative aspects but then that is to be expected.
The secret is to remain child-like your whole life. I didn't say childish. Children are sweet natured, kind and gentle. They are curious and believe anything is possible.

"Thanks John !..the crispness surprised me somewhat as i had used a 13mm close-up/macro extension tube attached to a 50mm Prime, the shot didn't need any sharpening in PS either. Oh, and no not yet, though i keep trying.. lol !!.."
