Hi, I'm Suzanne. I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners and sunsets...oops, wrong forum. Sorry about that.
I stumbled over here after getting tips e-mailed to me from my mom. Yeah, she's on Facebook too, that's how she rolls. Once I realized that this site is much more than a place to get tips I decided to join.
I've been interested in photography for years but really got into it about three years ago. I buried a Nikon D40 last year..pause for moment of silence...and after that decided to move on to a D90.
I shoot just about everything that is interesting to me. Except people. They're interesting to me, I just have a hard time photographing them.
I'm looking forward to meeting more photography enthusiasts and learning from everyone here. Here are a few of my images to get me over that initial nervousness about sharing my stuff with new peeps (as in people, not the marshmallow, sugar covered Easter treats...I don't think that they can type anyway so I doubt that any of them are members of PictureSocial).

Welcome to the club! You will find a lot of helpful people with a lot of helpful information, and when you do, please share that information with the rest of us so we can follow along!
The individual Groups are pretty quiet, the forums seem to be the place to post.

"Thanks John !..the crispness surprised me somewhat as i had used a 13mm close-up/macro extension tube attached to a 50mm Prime, the shot didn't need any sharpening in PS either. Oh, and no not yet, though i keep trying.. lol !!.."
