I have used the noise filter to take these white specs (on green) out of the photo. I have to ruin the photo to get them all out. But, if this is "noise" then why do I not see it all over the photo? It is only on the leafy part of the plant. I was expecting noise because of the "ISO", but why only on the green parts?
File size =4.3mb, Nikon equipment, ISO 800, 80-400 at 400mm, 1/250 sec. @ f/5.6, shutter priority.

Life is what you make of it. I was trained by some of the best in the world. In the end, life dictated that I go do something else. My advice, whatever you are at the moment is what you are. Dignify yourself and be the best you can at whatever that happens to be.
I have learned that the two most worthless days in my life are yesterday and tomorrow.
If you want to make pictures and be a photographer, be the best you can be. Learn your subject matter, become as much of an expert at your subject matter as possible. Don't spray and pray.
That is an excellent outlook; especially the worthless days comment. Regarding the headaches; isn't that why God invented Tylenol? The only thing I ever had that gave headaches was children.
I wish to thank everyone for their input, especially Ed. My college professor (botany) could use his talent. I have asked several people at nurseries to help me identify some of my flowers. They didn't have a clue. I am doing my best to learn this Photoshop stuff. I hope to go (omg) back to school to learn more of it.

Your profile states you live in Yukon, OK. You are less that 30 minutes to OSU. OSU is the land grant university for Oklahoma. It is the headquarters for the OK Cooperative Extension Service. This organization has resources you can take advantage of such as the OK State Botanical Garden. They have numerous demonstration/theme gardens through out the state. Although I am not 100% certain on this, they also likely operate the state herbarium. The taxonomists there will know any plant you could possibly bring them. Most are talented enough to be able to identify from a picture.
Through the Cooperative Extension Service, you will have a local county office. Through this office, you can make contact with an organization known as the Master Gardners. The folks who are certified as master gardners are incredibly talented individuals with the patience of saints. They could also identify plants. And, if they can't identify one or two, they know who can.
This is an organization you have helped pay for with your federal, state and county taxes. You should avail yourself of the talents and resources of this group.
Just as an idea, you could connect with the Master Gardners and do a theme portfolio that would be a life time work.
There is another section of the Cooperative Extension Service that would be worth your while to look into as well. The Ag Communications Unit of the Cooperative Extension Service.
If you have ever watched the OK gardening shows, Cooperative Extension via Ag Communications produces these shows. They also have photographers on staff.
Good morning all thanks for the comments. This is the place for sharing photos and having a chat there will also be games and other ideas.TJ has suggested a relay game. That goes like this perhaps you start out with a farm photo and ask for a pig.The next person posts a pic of a pig and asks for bacon. The next person posts a pic of bacon and asks for .... etc.Link to the relay game ↓ …See More
"Thanks John !..the crispness surprised me somewhat as i had used a 13mm close-up/macro extension tube attached to a 50mm Prime, the shot didn't need any sharpening in PS either. Oh, and no not yet, though i keep trying.. lol !!.."
