Hi All
does anyone know how to get my sigma lenses that I had for my canon 35mm to work on my canon 400xti digital
I have 2 lenses
1 200
1 500
Regards
Brian
Generally, no can do. The digital lenses are specifically designed to communicate with the digital body, so even if you do manage to get them to work, not all functions will operate. I gather there are some adaptor rings you can buy that will allow you to connect them, but things like autofocus, etc probably won't work. Google's your best bet...
Hi Brian,
As have say Matt that generally don't work. however there are some adapter that can help your lens to communicate with the body of the 400 d, but you lost some functions like aoutofocus and have to work with the exposimeter in stop down.
Hi Brian, you have to contact Sigma imaging and explain your query, i do believe that some sigma lenses for canon cameras can be re-chipped to suit later cameras (dependent on lens modal)
Good morning all thanks for the comments. This is the place for sharing photos and having a chat there will also be games and other ideas.TJ has suggested a relay game. That goes like this perhaps you start out with a farm photo and ask for a pig.The next person posts a pic of a pig and asks for bacon. The next person posts a pic of bacon and asks for .... etc.Link to the relay game ↓ …See More
"Thanks John !..the crispness surprised me somewhat as i had used a 13mm close-up/macro extension tube attached to a 50mm Prime, the shot didn't need any sharpening in PS either. Oh, and no not yet, though i keep trying.. lol !!.."
