I would think it would be the same as Photoshop. Step 1. open image step 2. grab the text tool step 3. make sure you color is one that will show up against your image step 4. click the text tool somewhere on your image, preferably here you want your watermark. Step 5. type what you want your watermark to say. step 6(optional) reduce opacity of new text layer. 7. flatten image.
You should also go to "File"-"File Info"- screen will pop up...make sure you put your info there as well.
Choose the text tool
Set the text parameters to something suitable for the photo
Click the new layer icon
Click the eye on the background layer to turn the layer off
Click on the new layer in layers to enable writing on that layer
Click and drag the mouse to create a box suitable for the text
Type the text
Click the eye on the background layer to make the layer visible again
Adjust the layer opacity to some pleasing value
From the menu, choose Layer, then Flatten Image
That's the basic watermark done.
From the menu choose File, then File Info
Fill in the parts of the form you care about and save
