Olympus E620 vs. Canon EOS Rebel XSI

I'm looking to upgrade my Sony DSC-H7 and have been considering the Olympus E620 ($800) vs. the Canon EOS Rebel XSI ($750).

I shoot mainly sports photography, both indoors and outdoors on a year-round basis. Indoors mainly in the winter months (hockey) and outdoors during the warmer months (baseball, ball hockey, lacrosse, etc.)

If you had to choose from these two cameras, which one would you go with, or is there another camera on the market in this price range that I should be considering instead?

Any input is appreciated as I'm still a relative newbie.
