NYIP has a pretty good fundamentals course. I took it last year. Unfortunately, it's a bit pricey: $348. You can check it out at nyip.com. Also, HP has some basic online courses. Go to http://h30187.www3.hp.com/?mcid=hholp and register. If you're looking for something more advanced, I'd recommend a photography club near where you live. Most have various training
