Photography Books:
Here are the titles of some books on either photography or lighting. I have these books and a few more. I thought I would start with these and I have given the title and the ISBN number.
1. Light: Science and Magic: An Introduction to Photographic Lighting (ISBN-13: 978-0240808192)
2. The Hot Shoe Diaries: Big Light from Small Flashes (ISBN-13: 978-0321580146)
3. 50 Lighting Setups for Portrait Photographers: Easy-to-Follow Lighting Designs and Diagrams (ISBN-13: 978-1584282426)
4. Beginner's Guide to Photographic Lighting: Techniques for Success in the Studio or on Location (ISBN-13: 978-1584281337)
5. Mastering Canon EOS Flash Photography (ISBN-13: 978-1933952444)
6. Canon Speedlite System Digital Field Guide (ISBN-13: 978-0470560655)
7. Pawhuska Kids' Stuff: Memories of Pawhuska and Friends (ISBN-13: 978-1598006698)
The last one, #7, is not on photography. It is my book and it's worth reading so I added it to my list.

Permalink Reply by Stephen Joe Payne on February 5, 2011 at 1:46pm You're welcome. I am deep in "Light: Science and Magic: An Introduction to Photographic Lighting" and I will probably read it again as soon as I am finished. I'm also going to write a test to see what I am learning and try to make it more permanent knowledge. How much is the mass of a proton? That's a good question towards understanding light.
