I'm having difficulty with my wireless remote RW-221TX/RX. The receiver is hooked to my Lumix DMC-GF1 hot-shoe (batteries good on both camera and wireless receiver). The receiver is on...red blinking light. It is tethered to my GF1 using the cord specific to a Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1.
The transmitter also has fresh batteries.
When I fully push the transmitter button, the reciever light becomes green..BUT NO JOY ON THE CAMERA'S SHUTTER RELEASE.
The same malfunction occurs when I press the manual button located on top of the wireless remote receiver with the receiver secured to the camera's hot-shoe. The light on the receiver lights green, but no shutter released.
Does anybody have any idea as to how to get this to function properly with my camera?
I bought the remote new from Amazon last March, but this is the first time I've made any real attempt to use it. It was bought specifically for my Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1. I have not been successful using this accessory at all. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Scan thru the settings menu or (gasp) read thru the manual.. (grin)
