No. Maybe a different subject.
thanks....it's different but I don't know what I would do with it this way....
I think the basket weave would overpower almost any subject.
Thanks for the comment....I agree with you but it does make a pretty "different" look at a beautiful flower.

I love the photo that you have posted......the "sunflower".....very very pretty!
It's like all the other photographs that are modified using "special effects" filters. There are very few times that these filters do anything to add to the beauty or visual impact of the material. Most times they are simply a visual distraction. I saw a photograph, years ago, where the photographer had actually cut two 16x20's into half inch strips, one vertically and one horizontally, very precisely, and then weaved them back together. It was unique at the time but really more of a visual gimmick to get attention. It was a lot of work at the time and had little benefit to the guy that did it. I think you are better off to find ways to make your photographs have a lot of impact without these types of filters. They are distracting from your otherwise pleasing photograph.
Thanks for your comments.....I agree....too much work with too little results....thanks again
I like it. I would print it very big and hang it on a very large wall, so when the people get close notice the effect applied. Maybe with different setting on the filter menu you´ll get better result and not too much distracting. I think this kind of effects ere designed to be appreciated from the distance.
Thanks for the comment!

From an artistic view point one must consider many possibilities, of which this is one. I like this image because it's not your normal photograph, it's been taken out of the box and rebagged then reboxed. Of course one must consider there are many aspects of any form of ART and like the old adage, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder," one cannot expect everyone to like nor enjoy everything presented.

So for me it's a definite thumbs up because of the creativity and effort that went into making this image. One must stand their ground when it comes to being different - look what Pablo did and he succeeded in changing the minds of thousands. Kudos for your bravery.

Oh my....what a philosopher you are....Thanks!

I tell it like I see it. FYI: I teach photography and Photoshop classes here in Oregon, so I tend to get bit long winded. LOL

Hey there....maybe you can help me since you are so talented....

I have tons of videos of my grandchildren but I want to make some "still shots" so I can Scrapbook them.  I used to use Roxio and I could do this, but I went to Windows 7 and Roxio does not work anymore.

Do you know of any software that will do this for me?

Thanks for all your help.
