Hi Everyone,

I'm in the process of finalizing the content for two wedding photography eBooks. Can anyone recommend software for a professional eBook layout? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Warm wishes,

Mia

They are just pdf files, most word software will convert to pdf

Hi Fred,

Thanks so much for your response. I have done ebooks in pdf format, but I was looking for something a little more visually pleasing. I'm thinking of trying DeskTopAuthor but I'm trying to get more information about it before I buy the software. I downloaded the free version and so far I like what I see.

I use OpenOffice or Serif DeskTop Publishing, either will produce a pdf file. It entirely depends on how you design the layout

Keep the files short and to the point if you are going to charge for downloading the file, it is far better to offer a few parts rather than one complete file.

Other alternatives are selling the ebooks through Amazon or somewhere like that where you offer large size files, maybe through the dreaded emarketing route, I use this and after a few months it brings in a small amount.

What you have to remember is for every ebook sold there are twent five free ones out there.
