About two weeks ago I submitted one photo via e-mail to a magazine for publication in a "viewers photos" section. At the same time I submitted a link to a web site where about 150+ of the same time of photos were submitted. This website gives all of the info on every photo that I have filled the info out on - and more. The editor of this magazine wants me to submit (if I understand them correctly all of those 150+ photos to them by e-mail.
Does this seem like a logical method for submitting photographs? Isn't this going to be a slow method for them to work with? And, if I do this, what kind of notice of copyright (what rights) do I send them?

Copyrights depends on the rules of the contest or their rules, because a lot of them say that you release all rights to them which is not the best thing for you. Read the fine print.
I submitted 20 photos to them for review at 72dpi. The prints should show at about a 3x5 size on a 17" moniter, and print at about the same. From what read in Photographer's Market and another book that should give them something to review, and protect my copyrights. And, it should give them something about me to keep on file. This is a major magazine for the trucking industry. For the contest there is no pay, but a possible prize. The 20 photos were to convince them to use me on their "want list", and to keep me on file.
