if you were looking for jest a tele this would be my choice for the d60 http://www.adorama.com/NK70300AFVRU.html
but if you were looking for a all around and jest didnt care about the 18-55 id get the 18-200 for a all around

I recommend Nikon 24-70 F2.8 or 70-200 F2.8 VR. I get great quality photos from these two lenses. If the budget is limited, then 18-200 all around lens will do. Visit http://daveblackphotography.com/, you'll get some good tips.

its very easy to suggest the 2 best Nikon Lenses - the 24-70 is not a telephoto and the 70-200 is nearly 2k!

What is your budget?
Try the Nikon 70-300 its the best bang for your buck...
