TinEye is still in beta but they're improving.

Its far from perfect, but its improving all the time and is very interesting to see who is using your images.

My friend put his in and found a pro photographer claiming one of my friends images was his own!

I sure hope that your friend pursued the pro photographer. That is unconscionable.
