What About HDR Imaging

Is there a simple write-up about HDR imaging and how's it being done? I've heard of it being a compilation of shots at different exposures. I wonder, how many different exposure shots you needed to enable to use HDR technique. Is there any software/s for these works?

Visit this link Tutorial Blog to learn. It will teach you the concept. Just remember, you need a tripod, you need to take 5 different exposures with Aperture as a priority. I learned the concept from Trey Ratcliff. Pick an Aperture setting, then choose +2, +1, 0, -1, -2 exposure values. Always shoot in RAW, and use Photomatix v3.0+. I've tried bracketing at 3F at 0.3 setting, freehand and at jpeg fine. so far i've just used the simple getaway with Photomatix, just HDR Combine and then Tone Mapping. Have yet to discover all about Photomatix.

i made a group about photomatix and the group hdr photography is helpfully too. but in short you need to shot in raw, brackets of three, and the exposure being a 2.0 difference. You want to really under saturate, then correct exposure, and then over exposure. also use a tripod or something to rest on. The less camera shake you have the more crisp it will be.

There is a free 30 day HDR program on the internet and can be downloaded. The name of the program is Photomatrix.com.

Also, just goggle HDR and you'll get a lot of different websites some that have video tutorials.
