Hello everyone! :) I am new on this photography network, but I am really excited that I found it ! :) My name is Ingrid and well I am a VERY VERY VERY amateur photographer, who just got a camera of her own and now can't stop snapping picture of everything and anything .. but ANYWAYS!
Maybe you can give me your opinion on a shot that I personally think came out great, but well I don't know that much about photography! :)
This is the picture. I added only a little bit of contrast to the picture , but besides that all the color are are just the way that I captured them :)
Ingrid, very nice shot. The first thing I noticed was the straight horizon line. I commend you on this as many shots feature a crooked or tilted horizon line. One thing I would like to point out is where you place the horizon line. Try not to place it squarely in the center of your photo. Remember the rule of thirds. It makes for a much more exciting shot. I do agree with a few of th ecomments regarding your subject. The eye does not go directly to somehting and it is difficult to determine what your subject is. Just becasue the women and bench are colorful does not make it the subject. I like the foreground with the beach and the sky. I would suggest concentrating on one of those elements and use the other to accent the picture, rather than placing a subject in such a small frame of the composition. By the way, enjoyed your other shots. Please check out some of mine!
