Depends on the body.  16 mm on full frame, 10mm on APS-C.  That gives about a 90 degree view so you can squeeze the camera into a corner and shoot the entire room.  There are photos taken in a series and stitched together that are quite good too.  I think a fisheye introduces too much distortion.  Many realtors just use a point & shoot camera.  If you are going to do a lot of it, you can get special tilt-shift lenses but they are expensive.  Consider a tripod and a level too.

im using is a cannon 5dmk2.

do you think i might get away with a 18-35mm lense.

i appreciate the advice

Take some test shots at home to see.  I expect it will be adequate.  I am thinking you might have the 18-135, since I do not see an 18-35 listed.  The 18-135 seems to be an EF-S lens, which will not work with the 5D or 5D Mk II.  On the other hand the 16-35 is an EF lens and it will fit a full frame body.  So I am confused about what you have.

Take the widest lens that you have with you. If you can bring a tripod as well. This might come handy in a late afternoon shot of the house with a very good sky and sunset background. That is if you are required to take this shot.

cheers mate

I do own the 5DM2 and I have Tamron 17-35 f2.8 -F4  which is a sharp wide angle len and cost a lot less than Canon 16-35. You might want to consider.

I use a 12x24mm on a full frame because i need the extra field of view for interior work.

Dxo is a must which eliminates the distortion.

Also most of my shots are multiple exposure so need the tripod, off camera flash also helps to accent areas

within the room.

cheers gary, the lense i'll look at it.

as for the programme i'll google, the programme is it free or pay for?

thanks for taking the time to answer the question.

thanks for the advice i appreciate it

Try using a "paid for lens." Hahahaha. Okay I'll be serious now. I would suggest a couple of lenses but I don't know what type of camera you have.
