What to use while taking new born baby pics i.e sheep skin, flower pot, etc and best place to buy from ????

Hi once again i am asking for advice what or where to buy this thing to take best pic of new born baby pics. thanks

I picked up a white long haired Flokati style bath mat at Wal-Mart....it is the perfect size for newborn photography and was around 25.00

I also frequent many of the second hand stores looking for props that may be usable such as tutu's, costume jewelery, blankets, hats, baskets, suitcases, trunks etc.

I've picked up wide head bands at the dollar store and then sewn or pinned silk flowers on it...or picked up wide ribbon at a craft store and put a strip of velcro on the ends and used this as a head band and sewn a flower or something on it.

Then, there are all kinds of sites on the internet including ebay where you can order specialty knit newborn hats or headbands or "pea pods" for photography...these are handmade so they can be a bit prices. If you know anyone that crochets you could ask them to make a few up for you. Once the hats are done, you can easily add silk flowers etc to them to jazz them up a bit.
