I've tried my hand at multiple exposures with my Nikon D90 but my subject comes out transparent and the background is still visible. I need some help please, any tips? Thank you in advance.

Dear Mr. John,
I'm just an amateur photographer and try to be a professional one. But my setting is in M or A mode, for landscape shots, sharpening 7 and Saturation +3, Hue 0. For portrait shots, I leave as default setting.

If nothing else I will jump in and say hi to everyone. There seems to be two groups on here for Nikon D90 users. this site and Nikon D90 that has 38 members at the time of writing this, which is probably why this site is not getting much traffic, but then to be fair neither is the other site.

I posted this on the other site but as of yet have had no responce so lets put this to the test and see if this site is any better.

What Picture Control do you normally use and have you created any custom Contols and what are they. I have set up one that I call Studio but I tend to use it on all my portrait shots indoor's or outdoors. The settings are:
Sherpening 7
Saturation +1
Hue 0
