My name is Chris, I am an Freelance and Art photographer in Anoka, MN. I love art photography and am developing workshops for the Minnesota area. Below is one of my favorite portrait. hope you like.
My name is Mary Jane, mj for short. I have a Canon Powershot SX10is and am trying to learn to use it well enough to justify buying a real SLR. I just bought Scott Kelby's books on digital photography which have helped me learn how to adjust for some circumstances but I'm still trying to figure out how to know what settings to use for each different type of shot.
I work for a Horse Rescue on the weekends so a lot of my pictures just document what's going on there, but I also love landscapes, nature, macros and want to learn how to make my shots more crisp and interesting.
Hello! My name is Emilie, and my laptop is choosing not to agree with me, so no self portrait. I am new to this site, as well as this group, and new in photography as well. I believe my age will not be a problem, and will not find diffuculty in completing the 'weekly assignments'.Most people think that young adults don't have the same skills that they have aquired over the years. (I don't want this to sound like i'm THAT young. It's reasonable.) I enjoy photography with a story behind it. I find the photo much easier to look at, and think about. I like dark, as well as black and white. I don't particulary like photography with people in it, as the people are the main subjects of the picture.
my name is jessie. i live in nc. more than anything i love to take pics of graveyards. the stones are beautiful to me. has anyone come up with a workshop for this group?
Hello all! Sorry, I apparently uploaded my information in the wrong area. :) I live in the state of Texas in the United States and LOVE natural outdoor shots using natural lighting. I have a passion for capturing children/families and look to really improve apon my skills. I am looking forward to learning all I can and soak in ideas and concepts like a dry sponge.
"I'm not sure if I can help, but I used the 'image' button. It is the second from the left in the Rely Toolbar. There you have an option of taking the photo off your computer or from a URL.
Good Luck
Bill"
