The group is meant to provide a forum for discussions on serious aspects of photography as an art form. To discuss and share ideas on those themes which are normally taught in every art school as a part of basic curriculum. A forum to discuss history of photography,to discuss trends and movements in the world of art and their influence on photography

This was one thing, i felt deficient in this otherwise wonderful site

Moreover, it would serve as a source of knowledge and learning for those of us who could not get the chance to attend an art school. So by mutual learning and sharing, We should serve this art of photography which is a source of inspiration and solace for all of us. We may not be on this site after some years, but our contribution would remain as a source of learning on this site.

Adding new discussions: Members are welcome to add new discussions on the subject of their choice or expertise. The new discussion can be added by clicking on 'Add new discussion' on the bottom of Discussion forum.
