I love this picture. I went out to take pictures for my class today, and I came back with only a handfull of really good ones. I was so dissapointed. I couldnt really see how the pictures turned out becasue of the angle of the sun.

Haha, manual mode. thats pretty much all I shoot in! What picture did you think had the depth of field issue? I'm pretty sure i used a small f.stop for both of them....

Ewan:  I'm sure That your camera came with software. Why don't you try it first. You can always upgrade to something if You don't like what you have.... Edit first in your camera, look at everything in the four cornners before you shoot.Zoom in or get closer to get rid of distractions that you don't wand in the photo.....

Looking at it from a " Wanting to learn basis" What preferences do members have when it comes to editing software?

PaintShop Pro, Photoshop, Gimp etc etc.

I just took this. Like, I just came back from being outside, all drenched from lying in the dewy grass trying to get a decent picture. I think it was worth it.
