Rusty, welcome to the group. My being a world traveler one would think I would have at least visited the east coast, but no I haven't as yet. Have fun while looking around at all the assignments and always feel free to engage in any assignment you so choose. The current assignment is always at the top of the list. Be sure to carefully read each assignment as they change with each passing week. Post lots and often, we have a sweet group of people here who love to share thoughts and ideas.

Hello everyone in Bob's Photo Group. Thank you for welcoming in me in the group. I live in Philadelphia. If there is anything, or place that you would like to see, ask me and I will try to get to it.

Robin Williams has passed away this Monday. The world has lost a great actor and a wonderful human being. A moment of quiet to respect all he has given to the Arts. Rest well in Heaven Robin. Amen.

Bob... Still no luck with the profile pic. I have tried both photos with layers.. flattened.. and without... 8 bit... keeps giving me error.

Comment by Robert Davis on July 10, 2014 at 3:45pm

I think I might know what the problem is. Does the image you are trying use have "Layers?" If so "Flatten" then post. Another might be the image is a 16 bit image, if so change to an 8 bit.

GRRRRRRR  I think I am just gonna go with the hammer idea.. lol  Pic is a jpeg and the right size... keep getting same error. Have tried different pics as well but keep getting same message. Giving up for now. lol

Comment by Robert Davis on July 10, 2014 at 8:28am

When the message appears that says "hit any key to proceed," don't use a hammer. :-) LOL

Seriously though, when you are on your personal page make sure the image - profile image - is small (about 600 res long side) and is a Jpeg. Follow the screen and viola, you're done.
