I now shoot with a Canon 7D, great camera but I am tempted to buy the new EOS 5D mk3, the full frame sensor appeals to me. Pity I cannot use my EF-S lenses on it though. Have also checked out the new Nikon D800 but I think the 5D mk3 comes out on top. The 24-105 lens seems to get a good review

What DSLR do you suggest to a beginner? AS of now I am using Canon S5 IS.

I would like opinions on the Canon 28-135mm IS USM lens.  I bought one last week but haven't used it yet other than a few test shots around the house.
